I’m Dani, a photographer and filmmaker based on the West Coast of Canada, creating thoughtful, story-driven work for travel, hospitality, food, wellness and lifestyle brands wherever the work takes me.

I grew up in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and now call the West Coast of Canada home. Both have left their fingerprints all over my work. I love good food, being outside, people gathered around a table and businesses built with a lot of heart.

My approach is rooted in a love of people and place, and in finding the details that give a story its character. The hands making the pasta, the rituals of a morning, the people behind a business, the feeling of arriving somewhere you don’t quite want to leave. I’m most at home somewhere between the beautifully planned and the completely unplanned, creating imagery that feels elevated without losing the life inside it.

Nearly a decade working across photography, filmmaking, branding and marketing has shaped the way I see a project as a whole. What makes this place different? What will someone remember? What makes them want to book the trip, pull up a chair, order the pasta or choose this brand over another?
